The apprenticeship is the equivalent to completing NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or IOSH Level 3 Certificate in Safety and Health for Business.
All learning will be delivered over a 12-18 month period in bite sized chunks, module by module. Tutors will visit learners on a 121 or group basis depending on the needs of the learner. This can be more beneficial to candidates as it gives a real opportunity to learn on the job rather than having multiple full day classroom sessions. It also provides the opportunity for learners to work on health & safety projects, alongside the tutor, in a real working environment.
A number of mock tests and projects delivered to support learners to be ready for the end point assessment.
The end point assessment is made up of 3 different elements.
Upon successful achievement of the apprenticeship learners will be able to apply to join the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) at TechIOSH level.
Successful delegates will also be eligible to apply to join the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) at Affiliate level.
Duration and Cost
