Penshaw View Training are proud to now be part of the advisor network for the North East Local Enterprise Partnership and North East Ambition.

Both organisations work to support schools and the education sector as well as create better jobs for everyone across the North East and our company provides training services to further support this.

As an Enterprise Advisor, we must adhere to the guidance and ethos of the Careers & Enterprise Company in order to work with our partnered schools and help to shape the futures of young people.

The Careers & Enterprise Company is funded by the Department of Education to strengthen links between education and employment and most importantly raise aspirations among young people.

In addition to this, one of the key aims of this organisation is to raise the profile and quality of careers education within schools across the region to meet the internationally recognised Gold Standards of the Eight Gatsby Benchmarks.

Therefore, Penshaw View is now partnered with Thornhill Academy as their main Enterprise Advisor and apprenticeship link for St Aidans and St Anthonys 6th form to support pathways into the local industry.

With our knowledge and expertise, we help to bridge the gap between education and the world of work by working in collaboration with Careers Leaders and the wider Senior Leadership Team to create opportunities for students.

Alongside this, we are featured on the North East Ambition Portal to additionally support schools and colleges in providing the best possible career guidance for children and young people across the region.

At Penshaw View Training we are passionate about improving career guidance in the education sector as this can improve outcomes for young people leaving full-time education.
